Floral Frog Card

Happy Friday! I have said it before and I will say it again, Art Impressions Funny Farm sets are some of my favorites. They feature adorably hilarious animals and are perfect for a multitude of occasions such as birthday’s, get well soon, or just because.

Today I decided to use the Funny Farm Frog set. This card is simply to remind a friend that they are ‘ribbiting’ or just simply fantastic.

I made this coral floral (haha that rhymes) card using the following:

Frog stamp from the Art Impressions Funny Farm Frog Set

Floral Stencil from Kindred Stamps

Card Basics Die from Kindred Stamps

Cloudy stencil from Lawn Fawn

Tim Holtz Distress Oxides in Twisted Citron, Abandoned Coral, and tumbled glass.

Coral Blend, Coral Shades, light green blend, and citrus green blend spectrum Noir Triblend Markers.

I cut the background rectangle and the circle from the white card stock. On the circle, I stamped the frog, then created a mask to create the clouds. I then colored in the frog with the alcohol Spectrum Noir markers.

I then took the rectangle and used my twisted citron to cover the entire piece. After it was good and dry, I used the floral stencil and coral to add the design.

I stamped the ‘I find you ribbiting” sentiment on a small rectangle of paper and added more distress ink. I then assembled the card.

My envelope was made using scrapbook paper and cut with my Cricut machine. The card is A2 size. Making matching envelopes is my favorite.

I also line my card with white cardstock, I find it helps the card come together more nicely and makes writing a greeting easier.
